“We stayed overnight while travelling north and arrived late, which was handled without any issue. The room was spacious, clean, and well presented, with comfortable beds ensuring a restful night. The motel is conveniently located on the main road and easy to find, yet it remained very quiet and pleasant. In the morning, we were impressed by how well maintained the property was—everything was immaculately kept, with lovely gardens and excellent presentation throughout”

“Apartment was very clean. All amenties that you needed was available. Staff are very friendly. Bed is very comfortable. Location is great. Breakfast was great. They also have Moccana coffee and normal milk, not the longlife milk. Would stay here again when down this way next.”

“A lovely motel that feels like it is loved. Owners are friendly and charming. The rooms are a good size and extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. There is a lovely outdoor area with table, chairs and BBQs. The little things make a difference like fresh milk for tea and coffee and tissues. I would happily stay here again.”

“We were a family of four and we stayed in Apartment D. It was super clean, spacious, stylish, seemed very recently renovated and very fresh. There were big and fluffy grey towels in a good sized bathroom with deep bath, beautiful smelling body wash and shampoo, and delicious butter cookies and coffee and tea. My children loved the two resident cats, the reception staff were lovely and the position was close to town and very quiet. We were pleasantly surprised for motel accommodation and would highly recommend the space. It's a winner and felt like a treat! :)”

“Sometimes, these places just nail it - and this is one of those places. Colonial Model is run by a lovely couple, the property is really well kept, the room (I stayed in the deluxe room with bathtub) was perfect. I was traveling for work and my plans were evolving - as soon as I got into the room and saw the space I contacted them to extend my stay another night. You know how certain motels just have that lovely, kitch charm? Where everything you need is provided, it's clean, simple but good? This is one of those places. It's the little things that make a real difference when you are spending a week at a time bouncing between regional motels - my room had a coffee pod machine, the bed was super comfy, water pressure great, room felt super clean, fresh milk provided, lovely natural toiletries, a nice motel branded pen that feels great to write with, foxtel on the tv that sits on a lazy-susan so you can rotate it depending on where you're watching from, good lighting options, salt and pepper in the cupboard, ceiling fan (so you don't have to parch yourself with the AC at night), tuppaware in the cupboard for dinner left overs, the ice tray is full on arrival, the towels are soft and fluffy... everything that's enjoyable about a really good motel is what you'll find here. Highly recommend this place. It's got the simple special sauce and retro charm you hope for when you book a motel,.. and for a great price. Legends. I'm adding this to the list on my company travel portal for the next time I - or another colleague - is in the area.”
